Ongoing pursuit to balance red wine and cookie imbibitation with more cleansing foods. You're obviously supposed to serve this with rice, but the hubs wasn't in the mood to eat, and I hate cooking rice, so TOAST. It works just fine, people!

1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 tomato, finely chopped
Salt, to taste

3/4 tsp garam masala
1/4 cup cooked green #peas
3 cups green #cabbage, rinsed, drained and chopped
2 tbsp cilantro leaves
Instructions
Heat oil in a pot over medium high heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin. Once the seeds start to pop, add garlic and ginger. Cook 1 minute.
Add sliced onions and fry until they turn transparent. Add #tomatoes, salt and turmeric and cook until the tomatoes turn mushy and soft.
Add chili powder, garam masala and peas, and saute another minute.
Add chopped cabbage. Stir well, and cook another 4 minutes.
Remove from heat. Serve with rice and sprinkle with cilantro. I actually decided to just do toast. I'm out of energy folks. It's hard to care when the other person in the house isn't in the mood for dinner at all. Toast worked just fine.
